Revolut is moving into commercial real estate lending. The London-headquartered neobank enlisted Duncan Batty, who previously led the real estate finance platform at M&G Investments, to oversee the new business. Batty will be responsible for building the commercial real estate lending unit from scratch.
Travel Ledger integrates Revolut. This integration brings Revolut Business accounts, enabling travel businesses to use Revolut’s extensive banking services to automatically settle B2B payments with partners directly through the Travel Ledger platform.
Principality Building Society launches OneBanx cash kiosk. The Buckley cash kiosk follows two installations in Principality's Cowbridge and Caerphilly branches. The service represents a significant milestone for the Buckley community, after the high street's final bank closure in 2019.
Taxpayers pay HMRC over £12bn using Pay by Bank. Pay by Bank allows to make secure account to account payments between banks. Using it means taxpayers do not have to manually enter as much sensitive financial information. The payment method is based on open banking APIs and banking infrastructure.

Santander's Openbank strengthens its presence in Germany. Openbank customers will be able to receive their salaries, set up direct debits for bills, and arrange their capital gains exemption orders, among other actions. With this measure, the bank will offer more products to its customers and can simplify their daily banking experience.
Putin allows Goldman Sachs to sell its business in Russia. This makes the US firm one of the few Western banks to fully exit the country. Goldman has entered into a binding agreement to dispose of its subsidiary, subject to various conditions, according to a person familiar with the matter who asked for anonymity.

Elon Musk's social media platform X announced the launch of a digital wallet and peer-to-peer payments services provided by Visa. X struck a deal with Visa to be the first partner for what it is calling the X Money Account, CEO Linda Yaccarino announced in a post on the platform.
US Bancorp President Gunjan Kedia to become its first female CEO. She will replace Andy Cecere. "It has been a tremendous honor and a privilege I value deeply, and I believe the time is right to welcome Gunjan warmly to the role I've held for nearly eight years," Cecere said.
